An accessory dwelling unit (ADU) constructed as a secondary home, this client was looking for a well-built structure that would be low maintenance. A metal roof, cement siding, and metal fascia mean there is no exposed wood requiring maintenance on the exterior. Solid wood doors marvin fiberglass windows, and custom cabinets offer quality finishes. We used highly efficient utilities such as a tankless water heater, mini-split HVAC, and LED lighting to keep utility costs down. A built in patio gives a nice place to hangout at the end of the day. Packed with everything you would need in a small package, this is a great example of what an ADU can offer.
